About Me

I am a mixed media artist with a love of colour and nature. My style is impressionistic reality, adding my own interpretation to my subjects.  I am inspired by the world around us. I particularly like plants and flowers.

As I have two dogs, I find myself often stopping to enjoy the beauty of nature on these walks and they often inspire my work. I love spring and summer seasons, with the bright colours that come with the first of the spring bulbs begining to push thier way up and show spring is surely on its way. But I also can see the beauty in a simple winter scene with a light frost covering the trees, and the songs of the birds all year round. 

I am inspired by the joy and abundance of the nature surrounding us. 
With my life long faith in christianity I find my spirtuality and my art are intrinsically linked and often overlap. I find inspration in god's love, that I see in nature and try to capture just a sample of in all my works.
